Toast of the Gowns Fashion Show
DLD Foundation hosted its first annual Toast of the Gowns Fashion Show Sunday, May 18th at the Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery in Woodinville, Washington. The event focused on Women's Cancer Research raising awareness in the community of the importance of regular doctor's visits and early detection.
The event was a huge success with a silent auction, wine tasting and appetizers, and finally a live auction fashion show.

Wine Tasting & Silent Auction
The event started with a silent auction and wine tasting in the Oak Aging Room. With three sections of auction items, there were a variety of items to bid on including a weekend stay at the Monaco, 4 VIP Passes to the Paramount, Mariner's Tickets, and much more. The items creating bidding wars were Cooking with Friends for Six by Simply Seasoned Catering and an antique blue tea set.
The wine and appetizers were absolute amazing with selections from Chateau Ste. Michelle Wines including: Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The desserts were sinfully divine including chocolate strawberries, and raspberry filled cookies.

Live Auction & Fashion Show
La Belle Reve graciously donated 25 gowns from designers like Alyce Designs, Gino Cerutti, and Tony Bowls for our fashion show this year. The models were exquisite having their hair done by Amanda Sagmiller with Supercuts and their makeup done by Kim Colucci.
John Curley worked the runway like no other auctioning off the 25 gowns and entertaining the crowd with his wit and charm. We did have a few dresses that were donated back to DLD Foundation and are now available on the web site for sale.
